Sawmill

In our mill we are sawing mainly European hardwoods such as oak, beech, ash, elm and cherry.
The production is varied and we can produce sawn construction veneer of 3m/m and also beams and squares of upto 14 metres long.

The main saw is a 'Schulte' single horizontal frame saw which can saw logs with a diameter of upto 130 cms. There is a circular saw attched to the main saw to make one straight edge on the board or to make a cental cut on the board to relieve the tension in the wood and to avoid excessive splitting.

Using our vacuum kiln we can efficiently dry special thicknesses in all species.
